The Evening Record dated October 5, 1918 printed a list
of 827 servicemen which had been accumulated by the
Bergen County Historical Society.  Charles Ward, Jr.’s name is on the list. The branch of service he was in and where he served is unknown as of
April 20, 2013.

          What we do know from records is that Charles Ward, Jr. was born on
July 25, 1893 and his father’s name was Charles Ward.  Charles Ward, Jr. was admitted to Fairmount School on September 9, 1908 and graduated.

Charles Ward, Jr. and his family lived on Cross Street in Hackensack.
